GDPR Statement

The UK GDPR is based on data protection principles that the trust and our academies must comply with. The principles say that personal data must be:

·         processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner

·         collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes

·         adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it is processed

·         accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date

·         kept for no longer that is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed

·         processed in a way that ensures it is appropriately secure

The trust will ensure that all personal data collected about staff, pupils, parents, governors, visitors and other individuals is collected, stored and processed in accordance with UK data protection law.

The trust has a designated Data Protection Officer (DPO), who is helping to guide the schools to ensure full compliance with GDPR. General queries may be raised with the trust via email to trust@pioneeract.org.uk
