Since taking on the role of Head Teacher at Summerfields I have been incredibly proud of both the staff and pupils here. The warm welcome you receive continues throughout our school and I feel makes us a place where children are safe and able to grow in their own unique ways.

At Summerfields we are all a family team and through our values of Enjoyment, Growth, Resilience and Respect we aim to be the best we can be. As a visitor you will see those key values in every classroom, reflected in the staff and pupils, through our rewards and celebrations.

Our pupils are as proud of our school family as the staff and we would be happy to share this with you on a visit. Our recent Ofsted inspection recognised the importance that our school team holds to all our stakeholders, they said;

Relationships are a strength of the school. There is a real sense that everybody who is part of the school’s community matters. The ‘Summerfield Speakers’ pupils’ group welcomes visitors to the school. These pupils proudly share information about their school and answer questions knowledgeably.
